Terms of Service.

1. Who We Are

Sonder is operated by [Company Name Ltd], registered in England and Wales (Company No. [XXXXXX]). These terms govern your use of the Sonder service including the website, app, and Telegram bot.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Sonder
• Users aged 13–15 must have a trusted adult contact registered
• Users under 13 must have a parent or guardian manage their account

3. What Sonder Is — and Isn't

Sonder is an AI companion for learning support, emotional wellbeing, and conversation. It is not a medical service, crisis line, professional tutoring service, or essay-writing tool.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to submit coursework as your own work, attempt to bypass safety filters, share your account, use Sonder unlawfully, or attempt to reverse-engineer the AI system. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Subscription and Payment

• Sonder costs £17/month after a 7-day free trial. No card required for the trial.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month
• Cancel any time — takes effect at end of billing period
• Payments processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• If purchased via Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms apply and they take a 30% platform fee

6. Refunds

Full refund within 14 days of first paid charge. After 14 days, refunds at our discretion. Contact hello@withsonder.ai.

7. Safeguarding Disclosures

By using Sonder, you acknowledge that if our system detects a serious safeguarding concern, we may notify your trusted adult or emergency services. Full details in our Safeguarding Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by UK law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. We are not responsible for academic decisions made based on Sonder's responses.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
