Is Sonder free to use?
Yes. The free plan includes one companion and 10 messages per day. The full plan unlocks all companions and higher daily limits via the mobile app.
Is my chat private?
Conversations are private to your account. We design for GDPR-minded practice. The main exception is safeguarding: if risk of harm is detected, appropriate escalation paths apply. See our Privacy and Safeguarding pages.
Will it write my homework for me?
No. Companions are guided to teach and ask questions — not produce finished essays for submission. The goal is understanding and support.
Can my school use Sonder?
Yes. Use the schools page to register interest. We’ll discuss pilots, safeguarding expectations, and rollout options with DSLs and leaders.
What if someone is in crisis?
Sonder is not an emergency service. The product includes crisis resources and safeguarding behaviour. In the UK, Childline is 0800 1111; in immediate danger call 999.
